Act Amending the Law of Property Code (SPZ-B)

On 29 March 2020, the new Act Amending the Law of Property Code (SPZ-B) entered into force, which addressed the shortcomings of the previous regulation regarding legal situations that are either not legally regulated or their legal status is somewhat unclear.

Provisions regarding commonhold, co-ownership, quasi-real easement, non-possessory lien on movable property, and right of superficies have been altered and amended. The second set of amended regulations reforms the register of non-possessory liens on movable property and seized goods in a modern register that enables the public better access to the register data.​
