The conference, organized by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Slovenia and the Slovenian Association of Mediators, stressed the importance of mediation in commercial disputes and the views of the enterprise sector on the alternative resolution of consumer disputes.
In his contribution to the conference, Gregor Golob has presented the views of attorneys advising their clients and the relevance of the advice given to the client so as to facilitate and enable it to reach a sound business decision whether to mediate a commercial dispute or not. Furthermore, he pointed to the particularities of disputes with financial institutions, prospects and legal nuances facilitating the decision to mediate financial disputes, and finally, to the particularities and examples of mediation in insolvency proceedings.
