{"id":3370,"date":"2018-09-26T14:08:16","date_gmt":"2018-09-26T14:08:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jadek-pensa.si\/?p=3370"},"modified":"2018-09-26T14:07:45","modified_gmt":"2018-09-26T14:07:45","slug":"proposal-on-good-practice-recommendations-regarding-worker-participation-in-company-management-in-public-debate-until-the-end-of-the-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jadek-pensa.si\/en\/proposal-on-good-practice-recommendations-regarding-worker-participation-in-company-management-in-public-debate-until-the-end-of-the-week\/","title":{"rendered":"Proposal on Good Practice Recommendations regarding Worker Participation in Company Management in public debate until the end of the week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The recommendations concern the fields which are either not regulated sufficiently precise by the legislation or demonstrate some shortcomings in practice, and with the purpose of ensuring an efficient\u00a0 worker co-management they would need to be defined more precisely in the rules of procedure of worker\u2019s council and company\u2019s management and supervisory bodies:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>regulation of candidacy procedure and procedure of appointing workers\u2019 representatives in supervisory body in the rules of procedure of workers\u2019 council by determining the conditions and criteria for candidates for worker representatives;<\/li>\n<li>managing the conflict of interest and independence of workers\u2019 representatives in supervisory body;<\/li>\n<li>regulation of the procedure of recalling workers\u2019 representatives in supervisory body;<\/li>\n<li>communication of workers\u2019 representatives in company bodies with workers\u2019 council and protection of business secret;<\/li>\n<li>ensuring efficient participation of workers\u2019 representative in supervisory body;<\/li>\n<li>ensuring equal payment of workers\u2019 representatives and representatives of capital in supervisory body;<\/li>\n<li>regulation of candidacy procedure, appointment procedure and recall procedure and the rights and duties of workers director or workers executive director;<\/li>\n<li>regulation of the obligation to review the report on co-management at company\u2019s supervisory body.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The recommendations were created based on a research of the Slovenian Directors\u2019 Association among the members of supervisory boards and management boards in 2017 and based on a quality research in public stock companies, which was carried out by Dr Valentina Franca in cooperation with the Slovenian Directors\u2019 Association in 2017 and 2018.<\/p>\n<p>On Thursday, 13 September, we attended a consultation by the Slovenian Directors\u2019 Association, where Dr Anja Strojin \u0160tampar led a presentation and discussion on the proposal of recommendations. A public debate on the document, which will then be confirmed by the Management Board of the Slovenian Directors\u2019 Association, remains open on the website of the Slovenian Directors\u2019 Association (<a href=\"http:\/\/zdruzenje-ns.si\/mediji\/aktualne-novice\/javna-razprava-priporocila-dobre-prakse-sodelovanja-delavcev-pri-upravljanju-druzbe\/\">http:\/\/zdruzenje-ns.si\/mediji\/aktualne-novice\/javna-razprava-priporocila-dobre-prakse-sodelovanja-delavcev-pri-upravljanju-druzbe\/<\/a>) until 27 September.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At the end of August 2018 the work group of the Slovenian Directors&#8217;
