International Comparative Legal Guide to: Lending & Secured Finance 2019

Jadek & Pensa is pleased to have once again contributed the Slovenia chapter to the International Comparative Legal Guide to: Lending & Secured Finance (2019).

The guide explains key issues in lending and secured finance laws, including guarantees, pledges and other collateral security, financial assistance, syndicated lending, judicial enforcement, bankruptcy and other insolvency proceedings, fees and costs, licensing, and local tax regulations.

Law firms from 51 countries contributed their chapters to the guide, including Allen & Overy, White & Case, Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe, Loyens & Loeff and others. The contributing editor is Thomas Mellor of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius.

The e-version of the guide has been distributed to more than 17,000 corporate officers and leading private practice lawyers across the globe and to the LSTA (Loan Syndicated and Trading Association) members, and hard copies of the guide will be available at several conferences organized by LSTA, LMA (Loan Market Association) and ABA (American Bar Association).

The Slovenia chapter was co-authored by Andraž Jadek, Partner and Žiga Urankar, Junior Associate, with assistance by Domen Romih, Tax Adviser at Jadek & Pensa.
